Enhancements to ISO 484 Standards Lead to
Improved Propeller Performance
Today’s complicated and sophisticated
propellers can not be repaired with traditional equipment.
Propeller Dynamic’s Windows based software allows
our technicians to quickly measure and evaluate modern propellers.
Prop Scan EPS (Enhanced
Propeller Standards) is used in the propeller repair and modification
process and has been created to further enhance the well respected
International ISO 484 Standards. Now your current
propellers can be fine tuned to suit your particular boat, motor,
and gearbox combination, maximizing vessel performance.
If your propeller is damaged or vibrating, if the engine RPM’s
are not correct, or the boat is just sluggish; WildCat Propellers
can correct the problem! In addition we can introduce modern design
features into your propellers.
Applying these design features will maximize the efficiency of your
propellers, yielding extra speed, decreased fuel consumption, smoother
running, and quieter propellers.
Prop Scan uses the ISO 484/2 International Standard to inspect, report
and repair propellers to guarantee repeatable results and improve
performance.

Picked up the boat yesterday, don't really understand the graphs are really
telling me however: • The boat is running better than it ever
has before • Old hull speed of about 8 kts was achieved usually
around 2200 rpm, yesterday it was about 1400 rpm • Top speed on
the boat since I bought it has been about 13-14 kts at about 3900 rpm, yesterday
I was able to hit WOT at about 4200 rpm with a top end speed (into the wind)
of 21.3 kts
Although I don't understand the chart, I do understand the results. Thanks
for the help, and I am sure we will stay on touch. I will try to get a new
speed curve this weekend for a base reference.
